Lola Lee Hard Gel Application Process

Lola Lee Hard Gel provides exceptional strength, long-lasting wear, and a beautiful self-levelling finish. Ideal for natural nail overlays, weak nails, nail recovery, and sculpted enhancements, Lola Lee Hard Gel offers excellent durability with minimal filing when applied correctly.

Step 1
Wash and sanitize both your hands and your client's hands thoroughly.

Step 2
Use a Lola Lee 100/180 Nail File to file the nails to your desired length and shape.

Step 3
Apply Lola Lee Cuticle Remover to the cuticle area and allow it to soften the cuticles for approximately 1 minute.

Step 4
Using a Lola Lee Cuticle Pusher, gently push back the cuticles and remove all non-living tissue from the nail plate. Pay special attention to the sidewalls and cuticle area, as any remaining cuticle can lead to lifting.

Step 5
Lightly remove the natural shine from the nail plate using a Lola Lee 240/240 Nail File or Lola Lee Buffer. Focus on removing surface shine only — avoid excessive filing, which can weaken the natural nail.

Step 6
Remove all dust and Cuticle Remover residue by cleansing the nail with a Lola Lee Nail Wipe and Lola Lee Sani Liquid.

Step 7
Apply Lola Lee Prep It to the natural nail plate to dehydrate the nail surface and promote maximum adhesion. Allow the product to air dry completely.

Step 8
Apply a thin layer of Lola Lee clear Brush On Gel to the natural nail and cure in a Lola Lee LED/UV Lamp:

60 seconds in a 48W lamp.

120 seconds in a 24W lamp.

Step 9
Using a Lola Lee Hard Gel Brush, pick up a small bead of Hard Gel and apply a thin slip layer over the nail. Without curing, place a larger bead in the stress area and gently guide the product into position to create the desired structure and apex. Allow the gel to self-level before curing.

Step 10
Cure in a Lola Lee LED/UV Lamp:

60 seconds in a 48W lamp.

120 seconds in a 24W lamp.

For larger structures or longer extensions, an additional curing cycle may be beneficial.

Step 11
If required, refine the shape using a Lola Lee 100/180 Nail File and perfect the surface with minimal filing. Remove all filing dust thoroughly before continuing.

Step 12
Apply your chosen Lola Lee Gel Polish Colour, if desired, and cure. Repeat with a second coat for full coverage and cure again. If no Gel Polish Colour is required, skip this step.

Step 13
Apply a thin, even layer of Lola Lee Gloss or Matte Top Coat and cure in a Lola Lee LED/UV Lamp:

60 seconds in a 48W lamp.

120 seconds in a 24W lamp.

Step 14
Apply Lola Lee Cuticle Oil to the cuticles and surrounding skin. Massage gently to nourish the skin and complete the treatment.
